About FaeRealms
Hello Realmwalker, I’m Dis. I’m a software engineer by trait and I love Nightingale.
I started to work on FaeRealms at the end of 2022. I started to collect and organize all the information pieces Inflexion Games had published in Discord, on YouTube, on their homepage, and in interviews. I try to publish these information pieces in a structured and (hopefully) easy-to-digest way here on FaeRealms.
I work continuously on FaeRealms and will incorporate every new information and dev answer as soon as it becomes available. If there is any demand for helpful web-based tools (like planners or calculators) around Nightingale in the future, you’ll find them on FaeRealms too!
How Did I Discover Nightingale?
I would like to say that I’ve followed Nightingale since it was mentioned for the first time and I was a big fan of it since then. That would sound like the perfect start for a fan page dedicated to Nightingale. But that’s not how it happened.
A dear friend of mine was telling me about Nightingale regularly since Nightingale’s announcement in 2021. While he is playing a lot of different games and knows a lot about the gaming industry in general, I’m the type of guy that plays only a handful of games per year but loves to stick around for a very long time.
The more he told me about Nightingale, the more interesting the game became to me. But it still took me till the end of 2022 to take the time and have a closer look at Nightingale. Shortly after The Game Awards 2022 I started to watch the available Nightingale trailers and gameplay footage and read the blog posts.
I was fascinated immediately and the more I watched, the more hooked I became on that rich fantasy universe Nightingale could become (read the Nightingale Lore summary to learn more).
It didn’t even take two weeks and I was sure, that I want to dedicate a big chunk of my time in 2023 to Nightingale and a fan project about it. And so, FaeRealms was born.
