Nightingale Release Date & Beta FAQ

The survival crafting game Nightingale should initially have an Early Access release in 2022. In August of 2022, the Early Access was delayed into the first half of 2023. FaeRealms is collecting all information about the Early Access and full release of Nightingale in this document.

Nightingale’s Release Schedule

The release schedule of Nightingale is not very detailed. In preparation for the Early Access (EA) release of Nightingale, Inflexion Games announces additional playtests relatively short-term depending on development needs. The amount of beta tests Nightingale will have before its EA release is not known.

  1. November 2022
    The closed alpha test happened in November 2022. Inflexion invited ~500 people and the test was under NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).
  2. December 2022
    The first closed playtest for Nightingale was on December 14, 2022. There were another 500 invites and this test was under NDA too.
  3. January 2023
    There will be at least one more playtest and it will happen most likely in January 2023.
  4. February 2023 until EA
    There might be more playtests or betas necessary. This has not been officially announced yet.
  5. First half of 2023
    Early Access release of Nightingale.

How To Get Into The Nightingale Beta?

Nightingale will have an Early Access release in the first half of 2023. Before that, there will be Closed Beta Tests. To participate players have to sign up on playnightingale.com and fill out a survey.

Early Access Release Date

The Early Access release date for Nightingale is not specified yet. It is announced to be “in the first half of 2023” by Inflexion Games.

What we know is that there will be at least one playtest in 2023. If there will follow more playtests or a Closed/Open Beta Test is not known yet.

As soon as there is more official information, this section will get updated.

Why Was Early Access Delayed?

Initially, Nightingale’s Early Access release should have been in 2022. In an official announcement on August 9, 2022, Inflexion Games announced that they have to move the Early Access release into 2023.

One of the main reasons was the opportunity to upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.1 before the release of the game. Inflexion also wanted to improve the content and gameplay of the game. Learn more about everything we know in the Nightingale Deep-Dive.

Nightingale Release Date

There is no information on the release date of Nightingale. There is the possibility that Nightingale will be in Early Access for one or more years.

Nightingale Release Platforms

The official announcements only contain information about the Early Access release so far. The Early Access version of Nightingale will only be available on PC via Steam and Epic Store .

Nightingale is already available on Steam and can be wishlisted.

Inflexion is still testing whether Nightingale will have Steam Deck or not. In any case, controller support is already confirmed.

Will Nightingale Be Released On Consoles?

There is no confirmation that Nightingale will be released on Xbox or PlayStation. The Early Access release will be PC only and there is no release date set for the full release. Until then, we might see an announcement for consoles like the Xbox and PlayStation.

Will Nightingale Be Free-To-Play?

Nightingale will not be free-to-play. Nightingale will be buy-to-play but prices or editions aren’t announced yet.
